Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed various programmes being conducted under “Seva hi Sangathan” Abhiyan in 7 states through video conference.
PM Modi was interacting with party leaders from 7 States & UTs to inquire about the ground level situation amidst ongoing Corona Pandemic and subsequent processes of Lockdown and Unlock from Delhi.
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National General Secretary Arun Singh and other senior leaders participated in the Video-Conference from BJP Headquarter, New Delhi.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, former President Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP, Lok Sabha), former President Sat Sharma (former Minister), former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, party General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, party General Secretaries Sunil Sharma, Adv. Vibodh Gupta & Dr. D K Manyal and other senior party leaders participated in the Video-Conference from BJP party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
PM Modi interacted with the BJP party workers across the Nation via video conference and took stock of the relief work done by the party activists amid the Covid-19 Pandemic. BJP leadership from respective states presented report of their efforts to provide help to the needy after the Corona Virus forced lockdown was imposed as well as the ongoing efforts by the respective units during the “Unlock” period. 7 states provided their details of service programme undertaken by party activists at their respective areas.
PM Modi, lauded the efforts of the party leaders from various regions for helping the needy persons throughout the period of lockdown. He delivered his respect to all the BJP activists who laid down their lives while serving the needy. Jana Sangha and BJP’s basic intension was to serve the masses with pure intensions. He stressed that it is in our culture to derive satisfaction with the happiness of masses. During the lockdown, when everything was closed, our personal security was in danger, even then our activists served the masses. Masks & essential items were distributed, care of stranded labourers was taken and some adopted needy families to take their complete care and all of this was done without interest for fame. Our activists have matured themselves and diversified themselves to help the needy.
Modi ji said that our every activist worked with high spirit of service. He stressed that our organization is not just to win the elections, its main motive is “Sabka Saat, Sabka Vikas” and it is ensuring the good of Nation and the society. We are working with the motive of “Nation First”. Our many generations have sacrificed themselves for the Nation. BJP has worked for every neglected person who was ignored for long period. We have sizable representation form neglected and oppressed sections in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha which proves our team spirit.
PM Modi said that this period damage has given practical exposure to our activists who converted this into opportunity to serve the masses. 130 Crore Indians have given us responsibility and we have been chosen for this Godly act. “Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna” has been extended uptill November end. BJP activists have displayed 7 golden traits and this “MahaYagya” must not stop. In the end of his address, PM stressed that danger imposed by Corona hasn’t finished and so we must not also rest and continue with our efforts to serve the needy.
J P Nadda, appreciated the dedicated working by the BJP volunteers. He also lauded the efforts by PM Modi and the prompt actions which were lauded worldwide including WHO. He said that Corona posed a challenge before the government but the decisive actions by honourable PM saved much precious lives. He mentioned the programmes like “Feed the Needy”, distribution of face covers, heloping stranded persons, provision of buses, management and service in hospitals, telemedicine centres, Qurantine centrese etc.
Arun Singh, spoke on the timely imposition of first Janata Curfew and then Lockdown. He stressed that since 2014 BJP has proved itself to be party dedicated for the welfare of needy. He also mentioned programmes like Ujjwala Yojna, PMAY etc.
