Randhawa kick-starts blacktopping work

Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today kick-started black-topping of road at Parveen Colony, Trikuta Nagar Ward No-52, Lane No-2 in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment in the presence of Ajay Gupta, Councilor.

While kick-starting the blacktopping work Randhawa said that it was a long pending demand of the locals residents of Ward No-52 which was brought to his notice and was accordingly taken up with the Public Works Department (PWD). He said that after due follow up the work has been finally started today giving a sigh of relief to the locals who were facing many hardships following potholes on the said road.

Randhawa further said that the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to develop all hamlets irrespective of vote bank politics. He said that the ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ slogan is being implemented on ground which has ushered an era of development particularly in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment.

“Making Gandhi Nagar a model constituency is my dream and I will not leave any stone unturned to turn it into reality”, Randhawa added. He sought the support of the public in making Gandhi Nagar neat, clean and green. He said that the public properties must be maintained properly by the local inhabitants as these are raised with their money. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Engineer PWD Des Raj Bhagat for his sincere efforts in ensuring that this road is blacktopped on priority.

The locals thanked Ch. Vikram Randhawa for his dedication and sincerity on addressing their genuine and long pending demand. They also extended full support to the BJP in coming future as well.
