
DODA, APRIL 25: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Krishan Lal visited Thathri and chaired a public meeting to assess the developmental concerns and general issues faced by the local population.
During the interaction, residents raised string of issues pertaining to electricity supply, Public Health Engineering (PHE) services and other basic amenities. The issues related to functioning and facilities at the local bus stand were also highlighted.
The DDC gave a patient hearing to the grievances and assured the public that necessary and time-bound measures would be taken for the redressal of the same. He directed the concerned departments to take immediate cognizance of the issues and work in close coordination to ensure effective solutions on the ground.
Emphasizing responsive governance, the DDC stressed the need for prompt and efficient grievances redressal mechanisms to improve public service delivery.
The DDC also interacted extensively with the local residents, encouraging them to actively participate in the developmental process and maintain close coordination with the district administration for addressing their concerns.
