UDHAMPUR, APRIL 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Prem Singh today chaired a meeting of officers from stakeholder departments to review the progress of the ongoing Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign in the district.
Seeking inputs on the implementation of the vaccination drive, the ADC stressed the importance of achieving the set targets within the stipulated timeframe. The Health Department was asked to ensure effective coordination at all levels to ensure benefits reach all eligible beneficiaries across the district.
The ADC instructed the Health and School Education Departments to intensify awareness efforts among the target population. He emphasized the need to encourage students to inform and motivate their parents about the significance and benefits of the HPV vaccine, thereby ensuring maximum participation and acceptance of the vaccination programme.
