Slathia pays tribute to Nk Rifleman Badhoria on his Shaheedi Diwas

 

VIJAYPUR DECEMBER 26- Former minister and National Conference State Secretary Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today paid glowing tribute to martyrs, saying they have made the nation proud by standing like rock on frontiers to meet challenging situations.

 

“We salute the valour of brave jawans, who laid down their lives while defending the nation”, Mr Slathia said while leading people in paying homage to Shaheed Nk Rifleman Swaran Singh Badkhoria of 16 JAK LI Inf, at a function held at Village Ranjadi Raya in Vijaypur Assembly Constituency this afternoon.

 

Shaheed Nk Rifleman Swaran Singh Badkhoria of 16 JAK LI Inf attained martyrdom during Op Parakaram in Abohar Punjab.

 

The former minister, who was chief guest at the homage giving function, seized this opportunity to express anguish over the plight of border dwellers and said they are needed to be instilled sense of security. “Their problems are accumulating with each passing day which should be addressed earnestly”, Mr Slathia added.

 

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Deputy Commandant Mr B K Awasthi and Cap Narotam Singh. They also paid tributes to the martyr.

 

 

Mr Slathia led the people of the area, who had come in large numbers, in paying floral tributes to the martyr. They recalled his services to the nation and said his martyrdom has made the entire state proud.
