Mankotia seeks early restoration of Internet in Jammu

 Expressing deep concern over the Internet ban in Jammu region, Former MLA & NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia seeks early restoration of Internet which has been banned after the abrogation of Article 370 & 35 A.
While addressing party workers in a meeting held today at Party Office Udhampur, NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia said that from the last 5 months every section of the Jammu region is badly suffering due to the ban of Internet, he stated that Students are not able to prepare their exams, business is completely paralysed as well as various other people of different fields including Artists, Media Persons etc were also forced to suffer.
Mankotia blames that Central Government’s “Digital India” dream has been broken badly & Jammu region is totally cuts from the map of the world due to Internet ban. He said that patriotic people of the Jammu region were happy & hailing the decision from the first day of abrogation of Article 370 & 35A, even a single protest was not staged against the decision in any part of the region but Government is completely ignoring the sentiments of these patriotic which is completely unacceptable, he cautioned
 
While making a scathing attack on ex MLA Pawan Gupta, Mankotia said that Gupta has promised in his 2014 election’s manifesto for providing 24 hr free WiFi facility to the youth of Udhampur, but 5 months has been passed of Internet Ban Gupta become totally deaf & dumb over the issue of Internet Ban which shows that he has befooled the common public for only the lust of chair in last elections, he added
Mankotia informs that Panthers Party is deeply concerned over the Internet ban & also staged no’s of protest including given call for Bandh on 07 December but Government has arrested the senior leaders of the party to foil Jammu Bandh. He said that NPP will continue its struggle for the early restoration of Internet services in Jammu Region.
Scores of party activists, senior leaders, Councillor’s, Block Chairman’s, Sarpanchs & Panchs were present during the meeting.
