BJP celebrates passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB)

As Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) passed in Lok Sabha and subsequently in Rajya Sabha, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the passage of bill at various places in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

BJP workers gathered at various places in large numbers and distributed sweets, while also bursting firecrackers to express their joy and satisfaction.

BJP District Jammu West, led by its President Munish Khajuria celebrated the occasion at the party office, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. BJP State Vice-President Parmod Kapahi, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, BJP State Secretaries Sanjay Baru & Praduman Singh, Parbhat Singh, Munish Sharma, Parneesh Mahajan, Ayodhya Gupta, Karan Sharma, Mandal Presidents Keshav Chopra & Ravesh Mengi, Surinder Choudhary, Surinder Sharma, Sunita Gupta, Dr. Akshay, Suneet Raina, Dinesh Gupta, Jeet Angral, Urvashi Mahajan, Sanjita Dogra, Sudesh Sharma, Neelam Nargotra, Munish Gupta and others were present on the occasion.

BJP District Jammu led by its President Vinay Gupta celebrated the passage of bills with the distribution of sweets at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar. Party State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, State Library Incharge Kulbhushan Mohtra, Ankuash Gupta, Lucky Puri, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Rekha Mahajan, Renu Nanda, Raj Rani Jamwal and others were present on the occasion.

BJP State Other Backward Classes (OBC) Morcha led by its State General Secretary Braham Jyot celebrated the occasion by organizing a ‘Halwa’ distribution program at Mishriwala Chowk, Jammu. Former Cabinet Minister Bali Bhagat, District President Jammu Rural Rajinder Singh Chib, Karan Singh, Jagdish Pandey, Ved Parkash (Mandal president), Mandal Vice-President Jeet Raj, Anita Langeh, K.L Sharma, Chunni lal, Lucky Verma, Gopal Verma, Vicky Chalgotra, Shamsher Prajapati, Vishu Rajput, Ravi Bhagat, Kewal Krishan, Vikas Gupta (Shallu Shah) were present at the event.

BJP Displaced Kashmir District led by its District President T N Bhat along with Mandal President Jagti Roop Krishan, Dolly Raina, T K Dhar, Maharaj Krishan, Raja Ji Ganju, Shivam Ji Kailum, Bablu Gosani, Ashok Bali, all booth Presidents and residents of Jagti Migrant Camp celebrated the passage of important bills at Jagti.

Enthusiastic BJP activists hailed the passage of bill and termed it as another milestone for Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre. They said that Modi government is committed to those who were victim of past governments and circumstances. They said that nobody must feel left alone in the BJP government. They termed the bills as the savior of those who were victimized at the hands of hostile governments in our neighbourhood. This bill is against nobody and is in the best interests of the Nation and the humanity. Common public also joined the celebrations. People were very happy by the event and said that this Citizenship bill is another historic step taken by Modi Govt.
