
KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 18: J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd. today, organised an Awareness Camp at Kandi Khas, Natnussa, Kupwara in collaboration with the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation, New Delhi.
The event witnessed large participation from diverse communities, with significant presence of individuals belonging to National Minorities. The primary aim of the event was to raise awareness about the self-employment schemes undertaken by Corporation for the socio-economic upliftment of marginalized sections of society.
On the occasion officials of the Corporation, highlighted various low interest loan schemes offered by the Corporation, with special focus on minorities scheme. These Schemes aim to support marginalised section of society, particularly those designed for minorities’ categories.
The District Manager, corporation Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Kataria, delivered comprehensive presentation of Corporation’s Schemes for establishing income generating units with special emphasis on Education loan Schemes.
The Deputy General Manager reiterated the Corporation’s steadfast commitment to empowering individuals and shared the key features of the Schemes. He encouraged attendees to take advantage of available Schemes and to actively promote them, ensuring wider awareness and impact.
During the programme, information brochures and handbills detailing various schemes and eligibility criteria were distributed among the participants.
