Foundation stone laid for community hall and rooms near Trimbakeshwar Temple, Purmandal

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 18: DDC Chairman Samba, Keshav Dutt Sharma today laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Community Hall and rooms near Trimbakeshwar Temple, Purmandal, adjoining AIIMS Vijaypur. The project with an estimated cost of ₹1.05 crore aims to augment facilities for devotees and visitors at the prominent pilgrimage site.

The foundation ceremony was held in the presence of DDC Vice-Chairman Samba, Balwan Singh and DDC members of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman stated that the project will provide improved amenities for pilgrims and strengthen infrastructure in the temple area. He added that the initiative reflects the commitment towards development of religious and tourism infrastructure in the district.

The community hall and rooms will serve as a dedicated space for gatherings, accommodation and other community activities, particularly during religious events and peak pilgrimage seasons.

The project will be executed by the Public Works (R&B) Department.
