According to sources, four Union ministers can be sent to the border countries of Ukraine for the evacuation of Indian students trapped in Ukraine.
According to news agency ANI, Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and General VK Singh can be sent to neighboring countries of Ukraine. These ministers will coordinate with other countries for the evacuation mission and will work to help the stranded Indian students there. According to the information, Scindia will go to Ukraine and Moldova. Kiren Rijiju will go to Slovakia, Hardeep Puri Hungary and General VK Singh to coordinate with the governments to evacuate Indian students to Poland.
Operation Ganga was started by the government for the evacuation of Indian students. Under this mission, so far five flights have returned to Delhi carrying students stranded in Ukraine. On Monday morning itself, a flight reached Delhi carrying 249 students. Earlier on February 26, one on February 27 and three flights had returned to Delhi. They have been brought to Delhi via Romania. So far about 1100 students have been evacuated from Ukraine.
