KULGAM, APRIL 18: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited the Kakran Pombay area of the district where he interacted with local residents and listened to their issues and grievances.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner assured the people that their genuine concerns would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
He also urged the youth to take maximum benefit from various self-employment and livelihood generation schemes being implemented by the government.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the need for greater awareness and participation in government programmes aimed at empowering youth and improving socio-economic conditions.
Later, he inspected several ongoing developmental works in the area, including works being executed at the Mata Katyayani Temple in Kakran, and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of the projects while maintaining quality standards.
