Families of students of Jammu and Kashmir trapped in Ukraine protest

Parents of children of Jammu and Kashmir stranded in Ukraine after Russian army attack raised the issue of safe return of their children to Jammu. On Wednesday, The parents of the students, who gathered near the exhibition ground in Jammu, presented their stand peacefully with placards in their hands, demanding that the central government bring their children back to the country at the earliest.
Referring to the situation in Ukraine, the family said that the children are currently trapped in a bad condition. They don’t even have food and drink. Delaying in such a situation is like compromising on their safety.

The parents said that our children are upset there. The Government of India should take steps as soon as possible to help them. At the same time, one of Parent Purushottam Singh, who was present there, told that his son Gurpreet Singh is also trapped there. His close relatives and friends are also with him. They are worried. It is a matter of courage that every day talk is happening on mobile. His colleagues including my son did not get food for three to four days. Purushottam Singh said that Gurpreet along with his other associates had to arrange for the vehicle by paying exorbitant fares.
