In order to have a field outreach with consumers and employees of the department, Director FCS&CA, Jammu, Rajesh Kumar Shavan visited Basohli and Bani.
The Director met with the employees and interacted with them to have first hand information about the functioning. He reviewed the supplies of essential supplies.
In Basholi he visited Food store and Fair price shops. The officer also interacted with consumers and received feedback about civil supplies.
In Bani the director inspected stores, Fair price shops and gas outlets. He directed the officials of department to work with dedication and transparency to come upto full satisfaction of public. He warned for any kind of unfair trade in the market and directed for regular checking and sampling.
It is pertinent to mention that Mr Shavan is on 5 days field tour to kathua- Basohli- Bani- Lawang Sarthal, Bhaderwah and Chirala (Doda) to oversee the functioning of the department and have meetings with consumers, traders and other stake holders.
