
Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under Mission YUVA scheme to evaluate and screen applications submitted under various categories, including Nano Enterprises and MSMEs, for financial assistance.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore, General Manager DIC Kishore Singh Katoch, Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta, representatives from the banking sector and other concerned officers.
After detailed scrutiny and deliberations, the committee approved 279 cases for financial assistance under Mission YUVA.
While reviewing the progress achieved under the scheme, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need to accelerate its implementation through enhanced coordination among all line departments. SDMs were directed to ensure a substantial increase in the number of applications, improve performance and achieve the assigned targets in a time-bound manner.
The DC further instructed the concerned officers to prepare action plans and submit daily progress reports for effective monitoring of the scheme. He also directed the departments and banking institutions to expedite the processes related to approval, sanction and disbursement of loan cases to ensure timely financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs under Mission YUVA.
