RAMBAN, APRIL 27: A Business Help Desk was today inaugurated at the SDM Office Gool to promote entrepreneurship and youth empowerment under Mission YUVA.
The initiative was launched under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan and inaugurated by SDM Imtiaz. The help desk, set up under the supervision of AD Employment Amit Kumar, shall facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs, unemployed youth and small business owners in accessing government schemes, financial assistance and skill development opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, the SDM said “The help desk will function as a single-window platform providing guidance on business planning, registration, loan facilitation and market linkages,” adding that Mission YUVA aims to empower youth through proper support and resources.
The help desk would be manned by trained officials who will assist individuals in preparing project reports, understanding eligibility criteria for various schemes and completing required documentation.
Special focus shall be given to sectors such as agriculture, handicrafts, small-scale industries and service-based enterprises, which hold significant potential in the Gool area.
