J&K: Alert after finding explosives, search operation launched at Jammu railway station


On Friday, a search operation was conducted by the Railway Police and the Railway Protection Force in the Jammu railway station and its surrounding area. During this, all the taxis present here, the goods coming and going were checked along with the goods. The station and its surrounding area were also searched by dog ​​squad and metal detectors. The drivers entering the railway station were also given entry only after strict scrutiny.

Earlier on Thursday, Dahlan’s big terrorist plot was foiled at the railway station Jammu. 18 detonators, 500 grams of gelatin wax explosives and wires were recovered in a bag in a drain at the taxi stand. While cleaning the railway personnel at around 4 pm on Thursday evening, a suspicious bag was found, in which explosive material was found. An alert is on at the railway station after the incident.
Regarding this, SSP of Railway Police Arif Reshu has told that the workers got the bag while cleaning. It contained two boxes. One contained 500 grams of gelatin wax explosives, the other contained a detonator and wires. The sanitation workers immediately informed the police personnel. After this the team that reached the spot confiscated this explosive. Police is finding out with the help of CCTV how this bag reached here and who kept it. At present, a case has been registered and investigation is going on.
