THREAT LOOMING LARGE
The success achieved by Railway Police in recovering 18 detonators and explosive material concealed in two tins of Amul brand milk product near a drain at Taxi Stand of Jammu Railway Station is no doubt matter of feeling proud but at the same time, the incident could be seen as a threat to peace, security and safety of people because it is intriguing that how explosives have reached so near to one of the main railway stations in J&K. Not only this but another incident of posters of Ghaznavi Force, an outfit of banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed were found pasted in different places in Tarore and Bari Brahmana areas of the Samba District sounding alarm bells in the security circles of the Union Territory of J&K as happenings in Jammu Division is not a good sign as far as security situation is concerned. It is an open secret that Pakistan through its stooges in India wanted to disrupt peace in J&K and on its behest several attempts have been made in the past also to vitiate peace in Jammu region. As the threat is big there is dire need to remain alert and special focus should be laid on sensitive areas like the transport terminals, security forces basis, important public places, etc. Reportedly, the probing agencies are working on a theory that some Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of the terror outfits might have brought explosive material and detonators and dumped them inside the deep drain to pick them up at a later stage. The terror outfits are exploiting the Over Ground Workers to carry out terror strikes in Jammu region and the attempt to trigger IED blast in and around the Railway Station was part of the same plot which was foiled successfully. Taking these two incidents in consedit for vishal bhartiideration one can say that the terror mongers are active in the region and it is now the job of intelligence and security agencies to identify them as soon as possible and eliminate them or else they could go for something big which should not be the case as peace in Jammu is vital for one and all. The people should also remain cautious against the nefarious designs of the anti-nationals and should share with police or other security forces any information which is significant for ensuring peace and tranquility.
