AMIT SHAH’S CONTRIBUTION REMARKABLE

AMIT SHAH’S CONTRIBUTION REMARKABLE

No entity in the country or even outside can contradict the fact that the contribution of Home Minister Amit Shah in bailing out the people of Jammu and Kashmir from over seventy years of morass in the erstwhile State is incredible. The way HM Shah has tackled things starting from stabilizing Kashmir against terror regime and helping people to get rid of contentious Articles 35A and 370 without allowing a single gunshot to disturb the law and order to pave way for development and long lasting peace is something phenomenal that deserves kudos from all the quarters in the country. It was after this development in the country that Pakistan has gone on back foot and the separatists have either gone into deep hibernation or have shunned their stand, which is significant as far as the future of Kashmir is concerned. Looking into the sequence of events in the Union Territory of J&K after August 5, 2019 changes, one can gauge well that Home Minister Amit Shah has provided the much needed confidence to the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi to take appropriate and bold steps in Kashmir to steer the region out of mayhem. Opening of malls, multiplexes and cinemas, new industrial policy, film policy, giving powers to security forces to tackle terrorism independently, reopening of ancient Hindu shrines in the Valley, inviting business tycoons from across the world to invest in J&K and opening new vistas of opportunities to provide livelihood avenues and a life full of dignity and pride is the gift of HM Shah to the people of J&K and the reciprocation can be seen at the rally site in Rajouri where a sea of J&K residents has emerged to listen to the views of their Home Minister as he is presently on three days visit to J&K. The visit of Home Minister Shah can also be seen as the bugle for the Assembly Elections in the Union Territory because already the work on summary revision following delimitation exercise is going on with lightning speed and is likely to be completed before end of November. As conducting polls in winter is a tough task, it is anticipated that somewhere in March-April, the measure to install a popular government would begin. The visit of HM Shah is therefore also significant as far as boosting the morale of the BJP cadre is concerned. On the whole, the visit of Amit Shah will be written in the annals of history as historic because it is likely to pace up the process of restoration of peace and normalcy in the region by way of chalking out strategy to end terrorism and also to ensure early polls to instill confidence among the people about democracy returning with a bang.
