Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday condoled the demise of National Conference (NC) candidate Smt Bobby Devi due to cardiac arrest.
Smt Devi who is contesting District Development Council (DDC) election from Paddar constituency in Kishtwar in Jammu region suffered a massive heart attack. She was rushed to hospital where she was declared dead.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter NC Vice President (VP) Omar said “ Very sorry to hear about her sudden demise. Her loss will be felt by the party and especially by the people in Paddar. May her soul rest in peace.
The NC Provincial president, Jammu, Devender Singh Raina said “ Sad to hear about the sudden unfortunate demise of our DDC candidate Paddar Smt Bobby Devi due to a cardiac arrest . A great loss to the party and the people of the area. May her soul rest in peace in heaven”.
