JEE Main 2021 dates announced: 4 attempts to be conducted, first attempt from Feb 23 to 26

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has recently announced the specifics of the conduction of the JEE Main 2021 entrance test. The education minister has confirmed that the first attempts of the JEE Main 2021 exam will be in February.

The first phase of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 will be conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021, said Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal during his live session today, December 16, at 6 pm on Twitter.

 

 

Pokhriyal further announced that the JEE Main 2021 examination will be held four times from the year 2021. The four attempts will be in February, March, April, and May for the current academic session.

JEE Main 2021 in multiple languages
The decision to conduct the entrance examination for engineering four times from this year has been made so that all students get an opportunity to appear for the examination amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The education minister had also talked about how JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in more regional language from next year. The exam will most likely be held in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu from 2021.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will also conduct a live interaction with teachers tomorrow to discuss the upcoming CBSE board exams and clear their queries.
