Over 24 political activists joins Apni Party in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 5 (UNI) Over 24 political activists from different political organizations on Monday Apni Party (AP) in Srinagar, a spokesman of the AP claimed this afternoon.

He said those who joined the Apni Party included Irfan Matoo, Peoples Conference (PC), District President Srinagar, Dr Khazana former Municipal Corporator Rawalpora and Ghulam Nabi Namthall a prominent political activist from district Budgam.

All the new entrants were flanked with dozens of their associates who also joined Apni Party and pledged to carry forward policies and programmes of the Party to the grassroots level.

Speaking on this occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir, senior vice president of the party observed that people across Jammu and Kashmir are emancipated enough to distinguish the political parties on the basis of their agenda and performance on the ground.

 “With the joining of our new colleagues the party cadre will get a boost on the ground. I am sure that the new entrants would work with extra zeal to disseminate the party’s agenda and work for redressal of peoples’ woes in their respective areas,” Mir remarked.
