Today A Plantation Cum Covid-19 Awareness Program was launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu in Collaboration with MARG & JK Dehati (Affiliated to NYK Jammu) at Jinder Melu, R S Pura in which more than 150 saplings of different varieties including seasonal fruits and medicinal plants were planted. More than 15 participants participated in this drive. Nisar Ahmed Butt (DYC,Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu),R.L.Sharma(SDM, R.S Pura),Sh.Girdhari Lal Mottan (Retd.CMO), Chander Bhushan (President MARG) ,Ghara Ram (President JK Dehati) , Ashok kumar (Secretary MARG),Tilak Raj Bhagat (Sarpanch) were also present on this occasion.Nisar Ahmed Butt(District Youth Coordinator) also briefs the participants about the impact of ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic.They brief the participants how to protect themselves from Covid-19 by following simple steps and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) like- Maintaining Social Distancing, Regular Hand Washing, To keep Hygiene, Use of Sanitizer and Soap, Wearing Face Mask, How to keep your immunity strong as the COVID-19 Pandemic is increasing day by day. Nisar Ahmed Butt (DYC, Jammu) also briefs about FIT India Youth Club event recently launched by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt.of India, Registration of New Covid-19 Volunteers in order to take care of Old Age Persons, Registration of individuals and social groups on IGot Training App and also motivates the Youth to participate in FIT India Movement.In the end, Tilak Raj Bhagat (Sarpanch) gave vote of thanx to Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu , MARG & JK Dehati (Affiliated with NYK Jammu) and Nisar Ahmed Butt (District Youth Coordinator Jammu) for taking such good initiative.
