Counting the drive to provide better development as well as basic facilities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 16-01-2020 conducted an extensive tour in the different localities of Gangyal of Ward No.56 Sh. Vinay Gupta Jammu Distt. President BJP, Sh. Baldev Singh Billoria Chairman of Health & Sanitation Committee as well as Councillor of Ward No.56 Sh. Jai Deep Sharma Councillor of W.No.22, Shastri Nagar, Sh. Surjeet Singh Councillor of W.No.43 Nanak Nagar, Smt. Jyoti Devi Councillor W.No.53 Trikuta Nagar, Sh. Harbans Chowdhary, Sh. Sham Lal, prominent BJP leaders and other inhabitants of Gangyal & workers of Party as well as officers of various wings including Engineering, Health, and Electrical wing of JMC were also present during the tour. Mayor kick started the construction work of various lanes in Gangyal area at the estimate cost of Rupees Eighteen (18) lakh only which was the long pending demands of the inhabitants. Mayor directed the engineers and concerned contractor to complete the said works with quality material & upto the satisfaction of residents. He also told the gathering that JMC has expedited the development works in all the wards of city and asked the officers to deploy more men & machinery in Gangyal area and resolve the other issues i.e. Construction/renovation of left over lanes & drains More street lights installation, better sanitation, lifting of stray dogs/ animals . He also appeal to the people to cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in making Jammu city neat, clean & green, plant more saplings in their localities, avoid using plastics & polythene carry bags and do not throw filth garbage, mulba etc. in the public drains & lanes.
