k: Two people were injured after terrorists hurled a grenade at a CRPF party at Srinagar’s Kawdara area in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The security forces have cordoned off the area and a search operation has been launched to find the attackers. This is the first terrorist attack in Srinagar in 2020.
Police officials, quoted by news agency PTI, said that some vehicles were also damaged in the attack saying that vehicles were hit by the sharpnels of the grenade.
“A grenade was hurled by terrorists to target CRPF personnel posted in Kawdara locality of the interior area of the city in the afternoon,” a police official.
