CEO Mission Youth JK flags off youth for Jagriti Yatra

Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth, JK, Syed Abid Rashid Shah, today flagged of a group of 18 young entrepreneurs from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for participation in Jagriti Yatra, an ambitious train journey of discovery and transformation aimed at taking highly motivated youth on a national odyssey to meet the role models – social and business entrepreneurs – of the country.

Nearly, 450 participants from all over the country would be taking part in the pioneering expedition who will get an opportunity to meet and interact with the prominent role models who are creating entrepreneurial success stories in India. The Tour will also include panel discussions and cultural events to educate the J&K Youth in building successful enterprises.

The Yatra will commence from Mumbai and will travel through Hubli, Banglore, Madurai, Sri City, Vishakapatnam, Ganjam, Nalanda, Deoria, Delhi , Tilonia and Ahmedabad.

CEO, while extending best wishes to the participating youth, said that this ambitious event will give an opportunity to the young entrepreneurs from Jammu and Kashmir to exchange ideas with their counterparts from other parts of the country and meet the real heroes in the field of entrepreneurship. This will enable them to further excel in the field of entrepreneurship and be the role models for the Youth of J&K, asserted the CEO.

“Yatra has the core aim of inspiring the J&K Youth to become torch bearers of socio-economic progress of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir”, CEO maintained.

CEO, while further elaborating on broad contours of Jagriti Yatra, said that these 15 days would be all about inspiration, adventure, sharing, growth, learning, bonding, dreams, challenges and passion and exhorted upon the participants to make the most of this experience . “Yatra is like a crash course on enterprise education and it has a tremendous lot to offer to the participating youth”, he added saying that it will fuel the participants with inspiration to last a lifetime.

          He said that the Yatra organizing team has put in a lot of efforts to make it one of the most memorable experiences for youth.

CEO exhorted upon the participants to be open and supportive in order to make the most of this program and embrace and enjoy the ambiguity as you would do when you embark on your entrepreneurial journey. He expressed hope that this event would prove to be life-transforming journey for the participating youth.

Pertinently, the JK Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) has identified and shortlisted the young entrepreneurs. In this regard, Director EDI and subordinate staff has worked in close coordination with the officials of Mission Youth for successful launch of the tour programme.
