REASI, MAY 04: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) 100-Day Campaign, the NCORD Committee of Government Degree College Katra organized an interactive session in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Sciences (EVS) on the theme “Early Warning Signs of Drug Abuse.”
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat. The primary objective of the session was to sensitize and educate students
Somalya Dogra, the resource person, delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the physical, psychological and behavioral indicators associated with drug abuse. She also presented a live demonstration to help students better understand the early symptoms observed in individuals struggling with substance use.
The interactive nature of the programme encouraged active student participation, fostering awareness and promoting a proactive approach towards prevention of drug abuse.
