Awareness drive held at GDC Kastigarh

DODA, MAY 04: An awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign was organized today at Government Dy. SP Aman Thakur Memorial Degree College Kastigarh.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of Principal Professor Koushal Kumar Mangotra and witnessed active participation from students and teaching staff. The participants displayed placards and  banners carrying strong messages against drug abuse and highlighting the importance of collective efforts in eradicating this social menace.

The speakers emphasized the rising concerns related to substance abuse among youth and stressed the need for awareness, early intervention and community support. The initiative also focused on educating students about the physical, mental and social consequences of drug addiction, while encouraging them to become ambassadors of change in their communities.

The programme concluded with a pledge taken by all participants to stay away from drugs and to contribute actively towards building a drug-free India.
