PULWAMA, APRIL 18: A Special Lok-Adalat for Labour Disputes and Land Acquisition cases was organized in District Court Complex and other sub-ordinate courts of District Pulwama today under the Chairmanship of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge), Pulwama and under the supervision of Mudasar Farooq, Secretary DLSA Pulwama.
By the concerted efforts of all presiding officers of all the courts, cooperation rendered by the learned advocates, a total number of 21 cases were taken up by one bench in the district out of which 16 cases were settled in the said Lok-Adalat. An amount of Rs1050 was awarded as settlement amount.
