
GANDERBAL, APRIL 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Syed Faheem Bihaqi today chaired a meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee (DGRC) to review the implementation and progress of the AB-PMJAY SEHAT scheme in the district.
During the meeting, the ADC took a comprehensive review of beneficiary enrollment under the scheme and stressed the need for sustained efforts to ensure maximum coverage. He directed the field functionaries to intensify outreach activities so that all eligible beneficiaries are enrolled in a timely manner.
The meeting also reviewed the progress achieved in Golden Card generation, particularly for senior citizens aged 70 years and above under the Vay Vandna initiative. Emphasis was laid on expediting the process to ensure that beneficiaries receive their cards promptly and can avail seamless healthcare services.
The performance of empanelled hospitals was assessed with a focus on patient admissions, claims processing, and service delivery. The ADC impressed upon the hospitals to adhere strictly to the prescribed guidelines and continue providing quality, hassle-free treatment to beneficiaries under the scheme.
The Committee also reviewed the grievances received and noted that effective mechanisms are in place for timely disposal of cases. The ADC highlighted the importance of further strengthening the grievance redressal system to ensure quick and efficient resolution of issues faced by beneficiaries.
The implementation of the PM RAHAT Scheme for road accident victims was also discussed in detail. The ADC reiterated the importance of ensuring immediate and cashless treatment to accident victims and maintaining proper documentation and timely reporting.
Stressing coordinated efforts among all stakeholders, the ADC called for close monitoring and proactive measures to ensure that the benefits of these flagship health schemes reach every eligible citizen in the district.
