Arrangements for JKSSB Junior Assistant Examination finalised at Budgam

BUDGAM, APRIL 16: District Administration Budgam today convened a meeting at the Conference Hall Budgam to finalize arrangements for the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Assistant, scheduled to be conducted on 19th of April by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mehraj-ud-din Shah, and attended by the Additional Secretary JKSSB along with senior officers and officials from various departments. Among those present were District Transport Officer Budgam, District Informatics Officer Budgam, ARTO Budgam, representatives from Police, Education Department, Traffic Police, besides Centre Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Magistrates/Observers, and Heads of Institutions of the designated examination centres.

During the meeting, the ADC reviewed in detail the arrangements being put in place for the smooth conduct of the examination. He stressed the importance of effective coordination among all departments to ensure that the examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, and orderly manner.

Threadbare discussions were held on crucial aspects including deployment of magistrates and observers, security arrangements, transportation facilities, confidentiality and safe handling of examination material, availability of basic amenities at examination centres, and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures prescribed for the examination.

The Additional Secretary JKSSB briefed the participants about examination guidelines, protocols to be followed at centres, and the responsibilities assigned to supervisory staff. He emphasized strict compliance with the Board’s instructions to uphold transparency and integrity throughout the examination process.

ADC Budgam directed all concerned officers to ensure advance arrangements related to security deployment, traffic regulation, and logistical support. He instructed Centre Superintendents and supervisory staff to remain vigilant and facilitate a hassle-free examination experience for candidates.

All departments were asked to maintain close coordination and ensure timely deployment of manpower and resources for the successful conduct of the JKSSB Junior Assistant examination across all designated centres in the district.
