Training of staff for JKSSB Junior Assistant Exam held at Anantnag

ANANTNAG, APRIL 16: To ensure smooth, fair and transparent conduct of the upcoming OMR-based Written Test for the post of Junior Assistant scheduled on April 19, 2026, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) in collaboration with District Administration Anantnag organized a comprehensive training session for superintendents and deputy superintendents, invilagating and other supervisory staff, today at Dak Bunglalow, Khanabal.

Member JKSSB, Showkat Ahmad Rather, Additional District Magistrate, Tariq Ahmad Malik, superintendents, deputy superintendents, invigilators and other officials attended the session.

The primary aim of the session was to sensitise the deployed staff about the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and examination guidelines.

Addressing the meeting, Member JKSSB, Showkat Ahmad Rather said the purpose of the training programme is to familiarise the exam staff with prescribed procedures and SOPs. He stressed the need for maintaining utmost transparency and fairness and to ensure the examination is held in a smooth and hassle free manner.

During the training, key aspects of the examination process were discussed in detail to ensure that the staff is well-versed with the necessary procedures. Special emphasis was laid on proper checking of candidates at entry points before allowing them into the examination halls. The staff were strictly instructed to ensure that no candidate carries mobile phones or any other prohibited electronic gadgets inside the examination centres.

The session emphasized the importance of vigilance, transparency, integrity and fairness throughout the conduct of the examination.
