
DODA, APRIL 15: In a commendable humanitarian initiative, the Indian Army (10 RR), in collaboration with Government Medical College (GMC) Doda, organized a voluntary blood donation camp here at Associated Hospital (AH). The camp reflected a strong commitment towards community service and the noble cause of saving lives.
The event was graced by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Rather, along with the Incharge Blood Bank GMC, officers from the Indian Army and the Blood Bank staff.
Around 14 pints of blood were donated by Indian Army jawans, showcasing their spirit of selfless service and dedication to humanity. The initiative significantly contributed to enhancing blood reserves, ensuring timely availability for patients, especially in emergency situations.
The CMO appreciated the noble gesture of the Army personnel and lauded the efforts of all stakeholders involved in organizing the camp. The programme concluded with heartfelt gratitude extended to all donors and organizers for their invaluable contribution to this life-saving cause.
