Army Recruitment Office, Jammu on 03 Oct 2020, despatched 66 x candidates to the Dogra Regimental Centre, Faizabad for the training. Approximately 2000 candidates were selected from the Jammu Division during the recruitment rallies held last year in the month of Sep 2019 at Reasi and Nov 2019 at Samba. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic these balance candidates couldn’t be despatched, however though the concerted effort of the Army Recruitment Office, their documentation and verification were done. As on date approximately 1900 candidates have already been despatched to the various regimental centers and the balance candidates are being planned to be despatched by October end. The Director Recruiting while addressing the candidates congratulated the candidates on their successful selection into the Indian Army and also asked the candidates to take a pledge to preserve national interest, safe guard sovereignty, territorial integrity and unity of our nation. He also briefed the candidates regarding the precautions to be taken with respect to COVID – 19 pandemic during their journey to the regimental center.
