The Census 2027 self-enumeration process commenced today across Samba district, with MLAs of all three Assembly Constituencies actively participating in the exercise in their respective areas.
MLA Samba Surjeet Singh Slathia, MLA Vijaypur Chander Prakash Ganga and MLA Ramgarh Dr. D.K. Manyal undertook the Self-Enumeration process and encouraged citizens to actively participate in the important national exercise.
The Self-Enumeration exercise was conducted in the Assembly Constituencies of Samba, Vijaypur and Ramgarh under the supervision of the designated Charge Census Officers. Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Samba was assigned as Charge Census Officer for Samba Constituency, while Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Vijaypur and Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Ramgarh were designated for Vijaypur and Ramgarh Constituencies respectively.
The district administration reiterated that Census 2027 is a significant national exercise aimed at ensuring accurate and inclusive data collection and appealed to the public to actively participate in the Self-Enumeration process.
