
SRINAGAR, MAY 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo on Monday handed over a fully equipped ambulance to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Srinagar procured by IDBI Bank under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at strengthening emergency healthcare services and improving medical transportation facilities in the district.
Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umar Gulzar, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tahir Sajad, ZMO, SR Gunj, Dr Shafaqat, ZMO, Zadibal, Dr Rubeena, Medical Superintendent JLNM Hospital, Dr Arshid, Asset Officer IDBI Bank, Virender Singh, Branch Head IDBI, Karan Nagar, Shoeb Khan, Operation Manager, Haseeb Shakeel, and other Officers of District Administration and IDBI Bank were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized that the addition of the ambulance would significantly enhance emergency healthcare services in the district and serve as a vital asset for the benefit of the general public particularly in the transportation of patients and trauma cases across the district. He said such initiatives are aimed at uplifting healthcare facilities by ensuring timely medical assistance and strengthening emergency response capabilities.
The DC lauded IDBI Bank’s CSR-backed HOPE initiative, stating that such support reflects a strong commitment toward community welfare and public health development.
