Mock Drill on Fire & Safety organised at SDH Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, MAY 08: A mock drill on fire and safety along with an awareness programme was organised today at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah by Fire and Emergency Services department.

Assistant Director Fire and Emergency service and hospital administration coordinated the event attended by ADC Sunil Kumar Bhutyal; CEO BDA Sanjeev Sharma; BMO Dr. Varsha Sharma, besides officials and staff members of the hospital and Fire & Emergency Department.

The participants were briefed about fire safety measures, emergency response techniques and the proper use of fire safety equipment during crisis situations. The mock drill witnessed active participation from hospital staff and fire service personnel, who demonstrated rescue operations and evacuation procedures in case of fire emergencies.

The programme also highlighted the importance of Basic Life Support (BLS), which refers to the immediate medical care provided by first responders, healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to individuals experiencing cardiac arrest or other life-threatening emergencies.

The drill concluded successfully with participants gaining practical knowledge regarding fire safety management and emergency handling procedures.
