
BUDGAM, APRIL 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam (Registrar), Mehraj ud din shah today visited the Sub-Registrar Office, Khansahab to review the functioning of the Registration Department.
During the visit, a comprehensive review of revenue generation for the financial year 2025–26 was conducted. It was reported that an amount of ₹3.61 crore has been realized through the registration of 601 deeds.
The officer also assessed the existing infrastructure of the office and took stock of the progress achieved in the scanning and digitization of backlog registration records. Emphasis was laid on expediting the digitization process to ensure efficiency and transparency in service delivery.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the overall functioning of the office and appreciated the efforts of the Sub-Registrar, Khansahab for ensuring smooth, transparent, and efficient registration services to the public.
