
KISHTWAR, APRIL 17: A group of unemployed youth on Friday completed Desktop Publishing (DTP) training course conducted by RSETI Kishtwar on its campus.
The training programme was conducted over a specified duration, during which trainees were imparted both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.
The course curriculum included training in different DTP software such as MS Office, CorelDRAW, Photoshop and PageMaker, along with modules on typing skills, document formatting, graphic designing, printing techniques and basic computer fundamentals.
In addition, sessions on entrepreneurship development, digital literacy, communication skills and financial inclusion were also conducted to prepare the trainees for real-world challenges.
Special emphasis was laid on hands-on practice, enabling trainees to design visiting cards, brochures, pamphlets, banners and other publishing materials. The participants gained knowledge about setting up small DTP units, managing clients and understanding market demand.
The trainees were provided certificates at the valedictory function organised today. The Lead District Manager (LDM) Harsh Rawal was the chief guest.
The Director RSETI Sanjay Kumar and guest faculty associated with the training programme were also present on the occasion.
The chief guest appreciated RSETI for organizing the skill development programmes and motivated the trainees to make the best use of the obtained skills for achieving self-employment and financial independence.
