
DODA, APRIL 17: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Krishan Lal today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress and implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme in the district.
During the meeting, the DDC undertook a detailed review of the components of the HADP being executed by different line departments. He emphasized the need for effective inter-departmental coordination and optimal utilization of resources to achieve the intended outcomes of the programme.
Officers from concerned departments briefed the chair on the physical and financial progress achieved so far. They highlighted key initiatives undertaken to boost agricultural productivity, enhance farmers’ income and promote sustainable farming practices across the district.
Scheme wise physical and financial progress under HADP during the year 2025–26, along with proposed targets for 2026–27 and Status of Kisan Khidmat Ghars were also discussed.
The DDC directed all implementing agencies to expand outreach and ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach the grassroots level in a transparent and efficient manner. He stressed the importance of identifying potential beneficiaries, conducting awareness campaigns and ensuring convergence among departments for maximizing the impact of the programme.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Manesh Kumar; District Animal Husbandry Officer; District Sheep Husbandry Officer; Lead District Manager (LDM) and officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Fisheries, Horticulture Planning and Marketing, along with other allied departments.
