KATHUA, APRIL 15: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to review and finalize arrangements for the written examination being conducted by the JKSSB for the selection of Junior Assistants.
The examination is scheduled to be held on April 19-2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Threadbare discussions were held on the arrangements to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination. It was informed that 10 examination centres have been established across the district for the conduct of the examination.
The meeting reviewed arrangements related to power supply, drinking water facilities, seating arrangements, security deployment and videography at all examination centres.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of close coordination among all concerned departments for ensuring smooth, transparent and hassle-free conduct of the examination. He also briefed the officers regarding their role and responsibilities for effective implementation of the arrangements.
ADC Vishavjeet Singh, Under Secretary JKSSB Pankaj Kumar besides designated Centre Superintendents and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
