Ram Temple inauguration: BCI wrote to CJI to declare January 22 as a holiday in all courts

Bar Council of India (BCI) president Manan Kumar Mishra has written to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud requesting him to declare a holiday in all courts across the country on January 22, when Lord Rama consecrates at the newly constructed Ram temple in Ayodhya The ceremony is about to take place.

The BCI president stressed that the holiday on January 22 would showcase the “harmonious blending of legal procedures with the cultural ethos of the nation”.
