Jammu June-30-2023:- In a Public Interest Litigation filed by Smile Social Youth Club regarding timeline within which the Genetic Counseling Centres, Genetic Clinic, Genetic Laboratories etc need to be established.
When the PIL came-up for hearingA Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Comprising Chief Justice N. Kotishwar Singh and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi observed that it appears that the timeline within which the Genetic Counseling Centres, Genetic Clinic, Genetic Laboratories etc have not been shown in the status report.
