SOLVE THE MYSTERY

SOLVE THE MYSTERY

It is really unfortunate that Directorate of School Education, Jammu has till date not established a foolproof mechanism to ensure that no person ineligible in any term could get a chance to serve the department because termination of services of 23 Rehbar-e-Talim (ReT) teachers for submitting desired qualification certificates from un-recognized Boards speaks of something fishy going on in the department. It is highly laudable that the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has directed the concerned quarters in the UT to go for a rigorous exercise to uncover all the cases of corruption and deception that has marred the entire system in the region giving a jerk to those who believe in honesty and were genuine in their terms and conditions. The recent case of termination of 23 ReTs is a good example for government instilling the faith once again among the common man but there is also a dire need to book those also who allowed such malpractices to happen because if today the government can identify that the qualifications acquired by the ReTs in question have been from unrecognized boards then why the same thing was not unveiled at the time of recruitment of the aforesaid lot? This is a big question and as everything is in records therefore LG’s administration should take the guilty to the task to set an example to deter others from repeating the same in the coming times. There is no doubt that the clearing the rout from J&K in such matters is a colossal task because not one, not two but almost every department and sector had been marred by neck-deep corruption and it will take some time to root out the menace as a large number of those who have a say are corrupt here conventionally and government-incumbent is finding it really hard to handpick the bad elements and throw them out like the aforementioned case. One can say that it is the good intentions of the LG administration that day in day out it is achieving new milestones in rooting out corruption as God helps those who help themselves and today one and all in the UT know well that sooner than later the J&K would become corruption-free entity as desired and declared by the LG on many occasions.
