Jammu 21st Jan 20-23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered an inquiry into the blasts in Narwal area of Jammu. Senior police officials inquired in detail about the blast and the investigation. LG directed to identify those responsible for these blasts and take immediate action against them.
There was a stir in Narwal area on Saturday after two consecutive explosions. Nine people were seriously injured in these blasts. Apart from this, some vehicles have also been damaged. All the injured have been admitted to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment.
The LG said that such acts expose the desperation and cowardice of those involved in the conspiracy. He asked all the agencies to take immediate and strict action in this matter.
Expressing sympathy towards the injured, the Lieutenant Governor announced Rs 50,000 for each of the injured as financial assistance. The Lt Governor said that the administration was committed to providing all possible treatment to the injured and stood by their families.
