Defence Minister Rajnath dedicates 75 projects of BRO to the country from remote Shyok of Ladakh.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday dedicated 75 development projects prepared by the Border Roads Organization to the nation from Shyok in Ladakh. Rajnath Singh, who arrived on a tour of Eastern Ladakh, inaugurated the Shyok Setu in the region, and through video conferencing, inaugurated these projects built in the country near the Line of Actual Control with China along the border with Pakistan. also took part in the celebrations. During this, he interacted with the Chief Ministers and MPs of these states through video conferencing and asked them to highlight the achievements of BRO in their area.

The Defence Minister also inaugurated seven bridges built in the Udhampur-Doda parliamentary constituency of Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office. In these programs, Dr Jitendra Singh joined Delhi through video conferencing. At the same time, the Satwari-Mandwal-Makwal road of Jammu, the parliamentary constituency of Jammu Poonch MP Jugal Kishore, was inaugurated. During this, during a conversation with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Dr Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the projects made by BRO will accelerate development in remote areas. With this, the economy of these remote areas will also get better.

At the same time, the Defense Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the Border Roads Organization to strengthen the infrastructure along the borders of the country in difficult circumstances. While congratulating him and the people of the state, he expressed hope that with the cooperation of local media, everyone should be informed about the benefits to the people from these projects. The Defense Minister said that the development of frontier areas is the priority of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In such a situation, he expressed hope that the Chief Minister and MPs should give information about the development needs in remote areas of their states. Their hopes will be fulfilled.

Meanwhile, during the two-day visit, the Defense Minister will visit the forward areas of Ladakh to take stock of the preparedness to face the security challenges. He will meet the soldiers in the forward areas of eastern Ladakh adjoining China and will take information about the winter management strategy of the army to face the winter. The Defense Minister reached Srinagar on Thursday morning on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
