AMIT SHAH’S GOLDEN ADVICE
The reports about Union Home Minister Amit Shah asking the J&K BJP leadership to extend the circle of party activities beyond Jammu region is the most significant advice for strengthening party base across the length and breadth of J&K because it is anybody’s guess that in Kashmir, the grip of BJP is not much as the top party leadership in the UT focused only the areas falling in Jammu Division. Prior to announcement of Assembly poll schedule, the meeting of Home Minister Amit Shah with J&K BJP core group holds much significance as the same will act as Margdarshan and also instill confidence among the party members. Every minute detail about the situation in J&K was reportedly discussed in the meeting and the Home Minister has given valuable advice to those sitting at helm of party affairs in J&K. Such interactions hold much significance in strengthening parties at the ground zero especially when the main opposition party Congress was sailing in troubled waters in J&K after the senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has quit the party. No doubt BJP’s stars are most favourable in J&K right now because the dynastic politicians have been exposed with people shunning them and BJP emerging as the indomitable force. Under such conditions, the advise by the HM Shah to J&K BJP leaders regarding boosting the party base in Kashmir holds much significance because ‘Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi’, is the situation right now and the saffron party cannot ignore this because the same holds the key to party’s success in the UT of J&K. The assertion made by HM Shah that although Jammu region is strong bastion of the BJP, Kashmir is also equally important and party must strive to gain more political hold there is really the golden advice and the way for the party to have its own government in the coming days. it is the time that the party leaders should focus on Kashmir valley also because by getting seats only in Jammu won’t serve the purpose.
