Draupadi Murmu was sworn in as the 15th President of India on 25 July. According to officials related to the President’s Office, he has signed the warrant for the appointment of J&K Judicial Officer Rajesh Sekhri as a judge in the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. Rajesh Sekhri originally hails from Jammu and the Supreme Court committee had recently approved the proposal to promote him as a judge in the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
