KEEP MORALE HIGH
The people of the country should keep their morale high because there is no reason to be afraid of the different kinds of threats which India currently is confronting as the army, Navy and the air force are among the best forces in the world and therefore the nation is in safe hands. There is no doubt that after the PM Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country the defence has been fortified manifold times with the trio, the army, navy and IAF getting everything necessary to counter the enemies both at western and northern fronts of the country including LoC and LAC. In this context, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari has reaffirmed that the country is capable of giving a befitting response to Pakistan and China even if they come together against India. This is a big statement and should be taken very seriously because lately a notion has been developed that if both Pakistan and China will open fronts against India things can prove detrimental for the country. No doubt that Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari has asserted that India should comprehend the situation along its unsettled western and northern borders as a ‘two-front’ contingency and prepare for it accordingly but this doesn’t means that India is making any negative apprehension against the situation along northern and western borders. It is always good to be prepared for the worst and that is the intention of the top air force officer when he says that preparation should be complete and final because India could be attacked on all fronts starting from military standoffs to information manipulation and blackouts in the future and its security doctrines and capabilities will have to cater to such possibilities. There is dire need that as a nation, India needs to identify its immediate and future threats accurately so that necessary capability responses can be developed to counter them effectively. Whatever be the case, the country and its armed forces should not lose heart as keeping the morale high is the key to sustain all challenges and emerge victorious.
