A major train accident occurred at Jammu railway station today. The movement of trains remained closed for several hours after two goods trains ( मालगाड़ी) collided head-on. However, there was no loss of life in this accident. According to the information, the goods train already parked on track number 6 not be cleared from there, a part of the goods train passing on track number 5 collided strongly with another goods train, due to which the movement of trains at Jammu railway station was completely stopped for several hours. It should be called a big negligence, because if this accident had happened between two passenger trains, then many people would have lost their lives.
The Railway Department should order an inquiry into this accident and action should be taken against the erring officials so that no such train accident occurs in the future.
