DB directives in Petition regarding dearth of staff in J&K Courts
JKUT (Jammu), December-29-2021-( JNF):- In a petition filed by Joginder Singh Bench secretary of the High Court regarding dearth of staff at various level (i.e.) High Court and District Courts, Pay Anomaly in respect of officers and staff and promotional avenues to Law Graduate Readers of the High Court, A Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Comprising Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani observed that Since it has been informed that the pleadings in the writ petition have been exchanged, we direct the writ petition to be listed for final disposal on 21st February 2022 without waiting for any other intervention, may be on account of any meeting between the officials of the government and the Registry. In case the officers desire, they may hold the meeting in the meantime but the court will not wait for it. JNF
